New Speed Cameras to target motorbike riders
NEW CAMERA: WA Police have rolled out their new weapon in the fight to reduce the road toll, a camera that photographs vehicles from the front and back - leaving motorcyclists such as this now readily identified to police. IT'S D-Day for WA motorbike riders - with police today launching their new weapon in the fight against speeding and dangerous driving. “The camera will also be able to recognise the speed of up to four vehicles in the frame and identify each vehicle that is speeding. In the past this was not possible, allowing some motorists to avoid infringement in cases where it could not be determined which vehicle was speeding.
